The Invasion

As his dad left for guarding the city, Nick quickly packed his lunch as fast as he could so he could hug his dad before he left. Ken was already waiting outside for Nick. "Bye dad" Nick said, His dad looked at him and happily said "Bye Nick" before leaving. Nicks mom was upstairs. Nick yelled "bye mom!" and so she said ""Bye" as he walked out the door. Ken and Nick walked to school neither of them knew that that was the last time they would see there family.
Part 2
The lunch bell had not rang yet, but the siren did. And the hallways where covered with red blood. Nick hid into a class with his brother he kept whispering "I don't want to die, I don't want to die" until his brother put his hand on his mouth. "Shush!" he said, "you will die if you keep saying that" Then suddenly they heard a rumble. A golem trashed the door in the room they were in. And it saw them. "RUN!" Nick screamed. They both jumped out the window running as fast as they could, when they heard the eerie sound of a tripod. They were running even faster when they heard that sound. They reached there house when they saw nothing but blood and torn down wood. And he floating general upon them. Nick grabbed a picture of his family then ran with Ken into the safest place possible: the woods. They met other survivors and became friends. Nick met his master. And Ken went missing. Until then. Nick thought of revenge and death on the general that almost ruined his life.
