Chapter Seven

"The Kombat Generator," Mikey whispered.

"I'm sure you're both familiar with the great war?"

Hirari and I nodded. The Kombat Wars, the thing that had built MapleMation in the first place, the core of all of our fighting skills. It had gone down to two people, Dray Darkstar and Rizzo Walker. They had defeated Manji with some funny looking colored earrings.

"Anyway, so when Rizzo was supposedly killed by the Dark Lord and Manji, Dray got so mad when he shot off lightning with his staff, he created something called the Kombat Generator," Mikey explained.

"What exactly is the Kombat Generator?" Hirari asked.


"It's a pattern that occurs every five years or so," Mikey answered.

"All of our Great City Wars, the first ended by Tate, the second ended by Juri, both leaders of great cities. MapleMation..and Another Forum...."

"They are the Kombat Heroes. When I said they 'found' the Kombat Generator, I meant they found the pattern. Obviously, Xsin is looking for a way to defeat this generation's Kombat Hero and destroy all the cities, except for MapleMation, since he wants to rule it."

"The possible candidates for this generation is definitely Minh. We've created a larger-than-average forum around here. Another is Nani, of course. Richard could be another possible one."

"It varies. But we'll find out soon. Xsin probably knows who's the Kombat Hero."

"Hang on," I said.

"How'd Dray even cause this pattern? It seems impossible."

Mikey laughed. "When Dray's rage took over, he was the Chosen One. He mastered all the powers of the Forbidden Earrings and used it to kill Manji. The force of the power was so powerful it changed the course of destiny. However, when Dray destroyed the earrings, a prophecy was made. A member of a city would end this pattern, not a leader."

I shuddered. I so did not want to be in this prophecy. Let Tom be the one. Anyone but me.

"So. Any more questions?" Mikey asked.

"Um, yeah. How many people know about this?" I asked.

"Oh, just Minh, and you guys, and Jaws' gang."

I considered that. "Well, we should tell everyone. Who knows if the prophecy could come true, and one of the guys who end the pattern is in MapleBirth?"

He took that in for a second. "Yeah, I guess so. Let's make a Global Announcement."

And we stepped out, with a surprise awaiting us.

Nice episode, I just cant wait to see whats the suprise :3

Kind of interesting how you made a side story for Kombat Arms. But I am waiting for something just made by you. For Example a story with your own characthers and places =3
